By accessing our website www.thekongacademy.co.uk, booking an event, or enrolling in a programme, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Please read them carefully before using our website or services.

The Kong Academy Ltd is a UK-based education company dedicated to providing values-based learning experiences through talks, workshops, and educational programmes.

2. Bookings and Payments

  • All bookings and payments are processed securely through Wix Payments or Stripe.

  • Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking if payment has not been completed or if unforeseen circumstances require it.

3. Pricing

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£).

  • Prices include VAT, where applicable.

  • We reserve the right to amend pricing at any time prior to booking confirmation.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

A. Events (Talks, Panels, and Workshops)

  • Refunds are available up to 7 days before the scheduled event.

  • Within 7 days of the event, tickets are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another participant upon written request.

  • If we cancel or reschedule an event, you will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer your ticket to a future date.

  • To request a refund or transfer, please contact info@thekongacademy.co.uk.

B. Programmes (e.g. The Way of the Analects, The Path of the Scholar)

  • Cancellations made 8 weeks or more before the programme start date will receive a 70% refund of all fees paid.

  • Cancellations made less than 8 weeks before the programme start date are non-refundable.

  • Participants may, however, request to transfer their place to another cohort or programme within the same calendar year, subject to availability and written approval.

  • Refunds or transfers will not be granted once a programme has commenced.

  • All refund or transfer requests must be submitted in writing to info@thekongacademy.co.uk.

5. Conduct at Events and Programmes

We aim to create a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants.
We reserve the right to refuse entry, remove, or withdraw participation from any individual whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All materials, content, and resources shared through our programmes, events, or website are the intellectual property of The Kong Academy Ltd, unless otherwise stated.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or sell any materials without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we take great care to ensure that all information, programmes, and events are accurate and delivered safely, The Kong Academy Ltd is not liable for:

  • Any personal loss, injury, or damage incurred at an event or programme (unless caused by our negligence); or

  • Any indirect or consequential damages arising from your participation in our programmes or from use of our website.

All personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
